This makes 444 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 347 lb-ft of torque at 4,750 rpm, with 7,500 rpm redline. Machine to be placed behind the front axle for low center of gravity and ideal weight distribution.

Conversion compressor, which sells for EUR nineteen, 900, increasing the power output of 450-hp V8 stake by one hundred and fifty hp. assessed the power output of 600 hp in the market at seven, 300 rpm. Peak torque jumped to 434 pounds / ft of torque at rpm-five, 400. Sprint from rest to sixty-two mph shortened to just three.9 seconds. High speed will be increased from the usual one hundred and eighty mph until hundred ninety mph.

Single transmission option will be a six-speed sequential manual with paddle, mounted as part of the rear axle for better weight distribution, such as current mode. Q-Select gearbox will have five different modes: Manual-Normal; Manual-Sport; Automatic-Normal; Automatic-Sport and Ice.

While the body Coupe or Spider 8C remain untouched, we adding some thrilling highlights visible from two seats with three-piece wheels NA3. For each emphasizing style wedge-shape 8C, the specialists selected by the combination of staggered 21-inch diameter in front and twenty-two inches on the rear axle.

New Alfa Romeo Spider

Alfa Spider is compact concept created by students Gaiani Alberto, Massimo Zedda Paparella and michela, for the 2009 edition of the Masters in Transportation Design organized by the Polytechnic University in Milano (Milan, Italy) in partnership with Alfa Romeo.Konsep SuperCarDesign was presented at the 2010 event, which took place on May 3 and at Bobbio, northern Italy.

The project was introduced by Samuel Codegoni designer, faculty member at the University of Italy. One of the main idea that drives this project is to express a sense of suspense in the action.

"This is clearly away from the first production model as a reference: the Duetto iconic of the 1960s - the second reference is the Alfa Spider from the 90s, with a distinctive wedge-shaped profile."

The layout features a mechanical engine is mounted longitudinally front combined with rear-wheel drive. The soft-top is electrically operated.

Design has always been an important factor for Alfa Romeo. In fact, it's the combination of design and engine that has made it into the legend it certainly is today. There has been made quite a few Alfa concept cars over the years by the Alfa in-house design department Centero Stile, and by outside design houses like Pininfarina, Bertone, Zagato and Giugiaro/ItalDesign. Below are some of these concepts, - and cars made in very limited numbers. Most of these are not actually working, and were just made for showing off at different Motor Shows.

Little about the alfa remeo
The Italians would call any open car a "Spider", but the name actually comes from the old horse carriages suitable for two. (You know the one Doc always rides in the old western movies). Since Spider is the general term for an open two-seater, or roadster, - there has been several Alfa Spiders (and Ferrari's for that matter) over the years. These pages mainly concentrate on the Pininfarina designed 1995 GTV/Spider, - with some other Alfa models thrown in as well.

Anyway, - I bought the Spider first of all because of the exceptional and award winning design and I was constantly looking at the reflection in the shopping windows when I was waiting for a green light. However, I soon discovered that I had bought something a lot more! Suddenly, terms like "driving pleasure", and "the Alfa Romeo legend" made sense. I was always trying to come up with poor excuses to take it for a spin and it did what most cars won't do for you... Turn a trip into a journey! I had become an Alfisti!
