Quote Of The Day - Joseph Farah

"There is little question the legal acceptance of same-sex marriage will open the door to the legalization of polygamy. It's inevitable. After all, if it is now discriminatory, as we're told, to prohibit two men or two women from getting married, clearly it is 'discriminatory' to prohibit the marriage of one man and two or more women. There is simply no other rational way to view it. Who benefits? Those who practice polygamy as part of their religion – Muslims.

"And what about opposition to the gutting of the 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' law? Where are the Muslim organizations on this one? Once again, they are AWOL. Peculiar, isn't it? Not really. That's because, I believe, the anti-American Muslim Brotherhood tentacles in the U.S. recognize that, ultimately, the U.S. military is one of the last lines of defense of a nation in economic, political and cultural retreat. And they recognize that open homosexual activity within the military's ranks renders it less effective. In other words, it spells victory for the jihadists who ruled the world in the past and intend to rule it in the future." - Just For Men spokesmodel and World Net Daily founder Joseph Farah.

Quote Of The Day - Slaggie Gilamonster

"We need someone who does not just talk the talk, but walks the walk on marriage. That is why we asked all the GOP candidates to sign NOM's 5 point marriage pledge. Bachmann, Santorum and Romney have. Why hasn't Herman Cain? President Obama claimed he supported traditional marriage but then failed to follow through. If Herman Cain wants to distinguish his position from President Obama, he should commit to concrete actions, not just rhetoric in support of marriage." - Slaggie Gilamonster.

Yelpstorm: Bad Reviews Swarm Review Site For Anti-Gay New Jersey Bridal Shop

Remember the New Jersey bridal shop whose manager rebuffed a lesbian patron, telling her that her wedding constituted an "illegal activity"? The Yelp review site community has responded with almost 600 shitty comments on the bridal shop's page. Yowtch.
"They don't deserve their business license, and they don't deserve your business," offered Isiah K. Yes, the store currently enjoys a one-star Yelp rating. Another Yelper, Dana B. declared: "Someone capable of such hatred has no place in an industry built on love. Want to defend marriage? Protect it from divorce, infidelity, and boredom. Don't keep two people who love each other from making a commitment in front of their god and their loved ones." This does seem like a seriously cogent argument. What might also be a cogent argument for business sense are the at least 69 1-star reviews that have been posted just today. Some will declare this is a mere orchestrated protest. But for a local business, orchestration can mean castration. One commenter, Dana Q., suggested: "Even before any of that happened, this place didn't deserve more than one star."
Yelp administrators tell CNET that most of the reviews will be removed because they are not about "the consumer's experience at the business."

GOP Sen. Tom Coburn: The Cowards In The Senate Are Just Lucky I Can't Carry A Gun

GOP Sen. Tom Coburn says he's so disgusted with his colleagues, that "It's a good thing I can't pack a gun on the Senate floor." Coburn continued his diatribe by declaring that the health care system was better back when patients paid their doctors in chickens.
“You can’t tell me the system is better now than it was before Medicare,” he said. He told a group at the Integris Mayes County Medical Center in Pryor, Okla.: “Show me where in the Constitution the federal government is responsible for your health care?” Without specifying what he meant, Coburn said President Barack Obama has an “intent is to create dependency because it worked so well for him.” The World’s caption below a photo of Coburn reads the understated: “Disagrees with Obama’s politics.” “As an African-American male,” Coburn said, Obama received “tremendous advantage from a lot of these programs.” The programs were not identified in the World report.
Double bonus GOP points for the racism in the last sentence!

NEW JERSEY: Bridal Shop Rejects Lesbian Patron For Her "Illegal" Wedding

An opinion columnist from the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that the manager of a bridal shop in New Jersey has refused the business of a lesbian because her coming wedding constituted "illegal activity."
Apparently, Donna was stunned to learn, after reviewing your customer-information sheet, that you're a lesbian. On the paperwork, you'd crossed out the word "groom" and written "partner" instead, and then inserted your fiancée's name. "She said she wouldn't work with me because I'm gay," you recalled. "She also said that I came from a nice Jewish family, and that it was a shame I was gay. She said, 'There's right, and there's wrong. And this is wrong.'" She also said - and you have the voicemail to prove it - that what you were planning was "illegal" and that "we do not participate in any illegal actions." "I was devastated," you told me. "I was crying. I called her a bigot; I told her, 'I am a happy person and you are a miserable person.' Then she hung up on me." You admit to using some choice words when you called her back. But trust me, whatever you said was probably poetry compared with what I believe most decent people would've spewed at her on your behalf.

Frothy Mix: Gays Wrecked The Economy

"Letting the family break down and in fact encouraging it and inciting more breakdown through this whole redefinition of marriage debate, and not supporting strong nuclear families and not supporting and standing up for the dignity of human life. Those lead to a society that’s broken. [snip] And you can’t say that we’re gonna take morality out of the public square, morality out of our schools, God out of our schools, and then expect people to behave decently in a country that requires, capitalism requires some strong modicum of moral consciousness if it’s gonna be successful." - Frothy Mix.

GHANA: National Clergy Head Warns Of God's "Ferocious" Punishment For Gays

Ghana's Archbishop of the International Council for Clergy today joined in the rising campaign against homosexuals, warning that God's ferocious retribution would be rained down on his nation's gay people. That retribution, of course, will come at the hands of God's Gentle People.

Archbishop Ofori-Atta said the judgment of God was not only upon practitioners, but also on all admirers, encouragers and helpers and therefore warned the Ghanaian authorities especially Parliament not to legalise gay marriages. “Let the Government heed to wisdom and arise in these perilous times and bar the practice of homosexuality. We, as an Ecclesiastical Body, condemn homosexuality and call on the Executive and the Legislature to enact and pass a law that will bar the perpetuation of homosexuality in this Beloved Nation of ours, “he added.

Quote Of The Day - Rep. Allen West

"I like chocolate chip ice cream, and I will continue to like chocolate chip ice cream. So there's no worry about me changing to vanilla. I like to, you know, ride my motorcycle. What do you want me to do? You want me to change my behavior and ride a scooter? I'm not into that. People can change their sexual behavior. And I've seen people do that. I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, so I've seen a very different perspective on human behaviors. So that's where I'm coming from on that." - GOP Rep. Allen West, speaking to the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel editorial board.

Crazy Eyes Loves Pro-Slavery Book

According to one of the three books on Michele Bachmann's "recommended" list, blacks enjoyed a more wonderful life back when they were the slaves of gentle, loving Christians. An excerpt:
Northerners were often shocked and offended by the familiarity that existed as a matter of course between the whites and blacks of the old South. This was one of the surprising and unintended consequences of slavery. Slavery, as it operated in the pervasively Christian society which was the old South, was not an adversarial relationship founded on racial animosity. In fact, it bred on the whole, not contempt, but, over time, mutual respect. This produced a mutual esteem of the sort that always results when men give themselves to a common cause. The credit for this startling reality must go to the Christian faith.

The book concludes that abolitionism was "not the best answer" for its day.

Porno Pete Attacks Dolly Parton

"The question is where can normal families go anymore to get away from the promotion of homosexuality? They can't go to the ballpark because they're promoting homosexuality. Apparently, family theme parks are now promoting homosexuality. Everywhere you go, people see the promotion of homosexuality -- and they don't think it's appropriate for their children, and they're tired of it." - Formerly tax-exempt hater Porno Pete LaBarbera on Dolly Parton's apology to a lesbian patron of Dollywood.

More Ridiculous Lying Lies From The Lie-Tastic Liars At Lying NOM

Local activists in gay-gay-gay Wilton Manors, Florida threatened to stage a boycott after a local business group invited virulently anti-gay Rep. Allen West to speak at one of their meetings. Under pressure, the business group rescinded their invitation to West. Story over? Nope. The unrepentant and inventive liars at NOM are trying to escalate this little low-level bit of local theater into some kind of rallying cry about HOMOFASCISTS shutting down debate. In fact, a casual glance at NOM's blog headlines and tweets on this story give the impression that West has suffered personal, physical intimidation and/or threats.

As usual, when boycotts work AGAINST the Christianists, they are "intimidation" and "homofascism" and "harassment." When THEY boycott, that is GOD'S PLAN, people.

Jesus Loved Employment Discrimination

Whackadoodle dominionist and American history revisionist David Barton says that Jesus H. Christ himself endorsed employment discrimination. Therefore, of course, Christian organizations should be exempt from hiring laws.
Now discrimination today is always a bad word a hundred percent of the time, but it simply means making a choice between or making a difference between. And discrimination means I am going to discriminate and say I can tell a difference between a Christian and a non-Christian and therefore I only want Christians working on my church staff. I can tell the difference between someone who says they're homosexual and someone who says they're straight. A secular organization has a tough time discriminating, but a church needs to have the right to discriminate. This is a biblical issue because Jesus has an entire parable in Matthew 20: 1-15 where he talks about a landowner who had a vineyard who went out to hire folks to work in his vineyard.
Right Wing Watch notes that Barton has previously cited the same Bible passage to support his claim that Jesus would have opposed the minimum wage.

Mrs. CPAC On The Gays

"Rena, it IS a threat to society. It is not nature's way. They can't procreate, can they?....You hvae them in your family? Well, there is no reason not to like them or love them, the same way you would love one who has a disability, or an illness, etc. I just DO NOT want them pushing their agenda on the majority who are not. This is just about sexual preference--keep it in the bedroom!!!! It is not about being denied any constitutional rights.....Ana, I got your point.....I am just tired of this topic being shoved in our face continually by all these gay activists and I have to ventilate my feelings.... You know I always wondered why homosexuals are referred to as 'gay', kind of an oxymoron? Nothing really 'gay' about them or their movement......I am all for intellectual honesty too!!" - Diana Cardenas, wife of CPAC chair Al Cardenas, in a virulently anti-gay Facebook battle.

Morrissey Out-Douches Himself

"We all live in a murderous world, as the events in Norway have shown, with 97 dead. Though that is nothing compared to what happens in McDonald's and Kentucky Fried Shit every day." - Morose pop singer Morrissey, bringing everything back to his vegetarianism, as he always does.

Quote Of The Day - Sally Kern

"To me what is hateful is when those people who say ‘you’re born this way, there’s no hope in change, you’re stuck in this, deal with it,’ that is hate. There’s no hope in that. We’re losing our freedom of conscience. And if the homosexuals get what they want, and as you said it’s not just homosexuality, its immorality or adultery, all of that, but in my opinion the homosexual movement is the tip of the spear. They’re the ones who right now are beating down the door, have their foot in the door, trying to tear down the moral fiber of America. We have to stand up to that. The reason it’s the tip of the spear you don’t see ‘Adulterers Victory Fund’ out there trying to promote adultery. God’s people got to stand up to this." - Oklahoma GOP state Rep. Sally Kern, promoting her new book on AFA Radio.

Tim Gunn Rips Hillary's Fashion Sense

In addition to what he says here to Gayle King, last night Gunn appeared on George Lopez to say, "She’s the secretary of state, she’s the former senator from New York, she’s the former first lady. Why must she dress that way? I thinks she’s confused about her gender. All these big baggy menswear tailored pantsuits. George, I’m really serious." That's some really unnecessary assholery on Gunn's part.

ISRAEL: Hate Group Leads Donkeys Through Jerusalem In Pride Protest

An anti-gay group led donkeys through the streets of Jerusalem today in protest of the gay pride parade also taking place. Because gays are like donkeys somehow.
"Muslims, Christians, Jews, all of them are hurt by the fact that the Holy City of Jerusalem is defiled by abominations like today's march in Jerusalem," said Marzel. "These donkeys do not commit acts that are as bad as what the marchers are doing," Marzel added. "The question is why are they allowed to carry out this provocation," explained Ben Gvir. He noted that whenever nationalists request the courts' permission to march through Arab towns like Umm El Fahm, they are made to jump through hoops because the act is considered "a provocation."
