Liem to compete at chess World Cup in Russia

Top Vietnamese chess player Le Quang Liem will compete at the World Cup in Khanty Mansiysk, Russia, on August 27.
Liem finished second at the Dortmund Sparkassen Chess Meeting in Germany on July 31.
The 20 year old player scheduled to meet Indonesian Grand Master M.Sunato in the first round.
This will be Liem’s third time participation in the World Cup, after his successful efforts in the qualifying rounds.
